It’s not for the cock, it’s for free!
The path to Radiohead’s seventh studio album has certainly not run smooth but the end is now in sight. After weeks of code cracking and THAT website hoax the band will finally release their album in 10 days (October 10th) which is not the usual UK release day, God those guys are kooky! In keeping with their oh so innovative ways they’re letting you choose how much you pay for the download and £0.00 is a perfectly valid option. For many music fans this is an opportunity to get some free music guilt free but for the die hard Radiohead fans, who stuck religiously with them even after ‘Hail To The Theif’, it’s a chance to show that you love Radiohead more than anyone else in the whole wide world. Whether this means paying in pounds the exact amount of seconds your favourite song is or just selling everything you own and giving that up we’ll probably never know but lets just hope that ‘Rainbows’ (what!?!?) can justify all this hype.
For now, lets just remind ourselves why everyone loves Radiohead a little bit.
