It’s not for the cock, it’s for alphabetical perfection

Have you ever tried to look for perfection? Something which can’t be improved by anything at all. The best of its kind. The very thing all others like it strive to be. Like Reenie Hollis is to the group of attractive female bassists. Well, in Daft Punk’s One More Time I have found perfection. I’m not saying it’s the perfect song (that’d be silly). No no, this is the perfect p.

Listen to the song. Pay special attention. Two minutes and forty-one seconds into the track you will notice something that’ll make you tingle. You wonder if it was real. Can something as beautiful really exist? Four seconds later your question is answered. There it goes again.

This is not a simple ‘puh’. This is a ‘pah’. And not any old pah either. This pah is the king of pahs. The feeling that goes into it is phenomenal. This pah is stronger than gravity. If one could perfect the timing, shap and energy of such a pah, one would be the most powerful person alive. If only for one moment.

Music journalis is about opinion. We bloggers do give facts about tours and releases but overall we are providing a commentary. Not today. Today I am expressing a world-truth. There is not a p better used in music.
