It’s not often a member of INFTC will drag their indie bottom out of wee venues and into crowds as big as Rock City holds. In fact, the last time any of us were there was the same time as the french duo in question were supporting CSS. In just over two months they’ve gone from supporting to headlining which may have something to do with the fact that they completely owned CSS all over the country last christmas.
The set list was just irresistible, their 80’sbassfilledglamrock-ish style album was littered with snippets of Klaxons, Franz Ferdinand, LCD Soundsystem and even Metallica’s ‘Master Of Puppets’. Here are some DJs that can not only keep their audience guessing but unite them with three consecutive, bouncing synth hits followed by the words ‘we are your friends’. The set list, sound quality and the lack of both moshing and glow sticks makes the Justice live show one of the most exciting yet accessible musical experiences around.
