What makes a musician great? Is it the skill in which he shreds his guitar? Or the insights into humanity he offers through his lyrics? Or maybe it’s the complexity of the music he plays? Read the rest of this entry »

Everyone give thanks, we are THE PHYSICS have arrived and are here to save Scottish music from the sweaty, hairy, generic grip of The Fratellis. This Glaswegian foursome is the most promising act to come out of the country since Alex Kapranos wrapped his irresistible vocal chords around ‘darts of pleasure’. Read the rest of this entry »

Late of the Pier
I arrived halfway through Clarky Cat’s set. I must admit that my first thoughts were completely unrelated to the band and their music. I was completely astounded at the nature of the audience. Read the rest of this entry »

As the title suggests, my first post is about the Brighton based music duo South Central.
All the information I have been able to derive about them is straight off their myspace as they don’t seem to have a website yet.
